There
are many available electronic dog trainers to any dog owner needing
to get their pet under control. From electronic collars to electronic
fences, breaking your dog’s unappealing habits have never
been easier. Using remote controls to activate the stimulations
or placing an electric fence up for stimulating a jumping dog, they
all have their own effective way to help you train your dog.
All
electronic dog trainers are safe and humane to dogs. However there
are so many to choose from, how do you know which one to pick? Do
you choose the collar and remote to train your dog? Or the collar
and underground wire to help keep him in the yard? Knowing the bad
habits that your particular dog has, will help you choose which
one to use.
A
good example of an electric dog trainer is, if you have a large
front lawn, and simply want to keep your dog on the lawn, and in
certain places, the underground wire with a collar may be what you
need. This particular method will allow you to bury a wire underground
sectioning off the areas you do not want your dog to go in. You
would then stick little flags around the perimeter of your buried
wire and attach your dog’s collar to him. The flags will soon
show the dog how far he can go before he is stimulated. The collar
will let off a clicking noise to warn the dog that the stimulation
is about to occur if he does not back up. This is an excellent method
for keeping your pooch out of your flowerbeds, and off of your porch,
if that is what you are wanting to do. This underground wire does
not affect humans, or other animals that are not wearing the appropriate
collar.
Another
kind of electric dog trainer would be an electric wire. This is
normally used for dogs that jump out of their fenced in areas. Simply
attach the electric wire to the top of the fence, and plug it in.
This wire will stimulate humans if they are not wearing shoes. But,
will effectively keep your dog from jumping the fence and getting
into trouble.
